16 December 2016 – day 16 – Day of Reconciliation.

This walk is becoming a movement.

People from all walks of life have been touched by the sight of a small group of remarkable young people braving the elements in support of wider access to higher education.

Thabo Thulare posted on facebook about the truck drivers that would stop to meet them and give them a cash contribution:

“These truck drivers stop us while doing our daily walk towards a 1000 km in Eastern Cape and they contributed towards our cause to raise money for fees. The spirit of kindness still lives on in our beautiful country. I am completely touched and lost for words.”

The 1000 km walkers make and live a compelling argument: talent + opportunity = reconciliation.

The talent is there in abundance.

Please help us with the + opportunity.

Every Rand counts.
